Thousand Oaks, CA January 12, 2015
Bloom Honey – the Thousand Oaks based producer of 100% raw, single floral varietal honeys has been honored with the prestigious 2015 Good Food Award for its White Clover honey. White Clover honey is one of over a dozen single floral varietal honeys produced by Bloom Honey. Each varietal has a unique flavor and distinct personality that is based on the diverse floral sources of the nectars that are collected by the bees. Bloom Honey President David Jefferson said, “We are tremendously honored and excited to be recognized with a Good Food Award. This award recognizes both the delicious flavor of our raw honey, as well as our passionate commitment to responsible and sustainable production.”

Congratulations to our Chamisa and Sumac (“Malibu Wild”) varietals for winning first place at this year’s Ventura County Fair! This is the second win for our Sumac, following last year’s blue ribbon placement. This is our Chamisa’s first entry in the Ventura Co. Fair and it’s first win!
~ Look for Bloom’s Malibu Wild (“Sumac”) honey – made by our bees in the hills of Malibu – to be available in 8 oz bottles soon…
